Fall Line Cleanup on April 27, 2024
Sports Backer Bike Walk RVA team is partnering with Groundwork RVA to host a cleanup in the Bellemeade Community in south Richmond adjacent to the Fall Line corridor.
Annual RVA Bike Month
Established in 2014, each year Sports Backers hosts RVA Bike Month, a large-scale grassroots calendar of volunteer-led events to highlight bike/ped advocacy. Volunteer events to raise awareness for the Fall Line often include happy hour informational sessions, bike tours, turnout at public hearings, and more. More info at www.rvabikemonth.com – each year’s calendar goes live in April for a month of events each May.
Green Streets Team
Sports Backers hosts a quarterly service program to promote volunteerism and Fall Line awareness along the 43-mile corridor. Launched in 2024, each quarter we will partner with a community group, organization, or institution to lead a cleanup, planting, art installation, or other service project to get volunteers out on the Fall Line.
